Churchland Elementary Welcomes MILITARY FAMILIES

Find additional information on the Portsmouth Public School's Supporting Military Families resource page, including what you need to do to prepare for your relocation and a connection to the Hampton Roads military family liaison program.
Welcome to Churchland Elementary School
The staff at Churchland Elementary looks forward to supporting your military connected children and family. It is with great pride and appreciation for all military families that we want to welcome you and build a supportive partnership. We have various ways to work together.
Churchland Elementary  has a student transition program which helps students to be happier, resilient, and more confident kids. Change is sometimes challenging, but this program helps kids to have the ability to bounce back from experiences like frequent moving, deployment, navigating a new school, and making friends. Contact Misty Conkel, Family Liaison and military contact at (757) 686-2523.

Throughout the school year we are excited to honor our military connected students at Churchland Elementary School!
